Overview of the TSLPRB SI Exam

The TSLPRB has notified 275 vacancies for Sub Inspector (SI) and allied posts. The selection process is rigorous, culminating in a Final Written Examination consisting of four papers. Papers I and II (English and Telugu/Urdu) are qualifying in nature. However, Paper III (Arithmetic & Reasoning) and Paper IV (General Studies) are the merit-deciding papers.

Paper III: Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning (200 Marks)

This paper tests your logical and mathematical aptitude. Speed and accuracy are vital.

  • Arithmetic Focus Areas: Number System, Simple & Compound Interest, Ratio & Proportion, Averages, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Mensuration.
  • Reasoning Focus Areas: Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning, Analogies, Spatial Visualization, Problem Solving, Analysis, Judgment, Decision Making.

Paper IV: General Studies (200 Marks)
